- Begin by lying on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the ground, with ankles together.
- Lay your arms straight out to the sides to stabilize the upper body. Both shoulder blades should be in contact with the ground.
- Allow everything to relax as much as possible.
- Let your knees fall together to the left.
- Keep the ankles together and let them stack on top of each other as your knees get closer to the ground.
- Have your arms straight out in front of you with your palms together like you’re clapping; your right arm should be on top and your elbows are straight
- Stabilize your lower body by relaxing
- Inhale as you reach the right arm up and over your body, attempting to reach the ground behind you; leave the left arm on the ground where you started
- Follow the moving right arm with your eyes
- To reverse the movement, exhale and bring the right arm up and over to the start position, with the right arm back on top of the left arm
- Repeat this movement for repetitions
- Then roll over to the right and repeat to the other side
