Maintain this form throughout

  • Head, shoulder blades, elbows and hands in contact with the ground
  • Maintain the hip and knee angle that was established with both feet flat on floor
  • Maintain the edge of bottom foot in contact with the ground
  • Both knees, feet and ankles remain touching each other

  • Upper vertebrae remain neutral while lower vertebrae rotate and lift off the ground
  • Entire length of leg comes in contact with the ground

  • Begin by lying on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the ground, with ankles together.
  • Lay your arms straight out to the sides to stabilize the upper body. Establish and maintain contact with the ground with your head, shoulders, elbows and hands.
  • Allow everything to relax as much as possible.
  • Let your knees fall together to the right.
  • Keep the ankles together and let them stack on top of each other as your knees get closer to the ground.
  • Bring the knees back up.
  • Once at the starting position, repeat to the left.
  • Bring the knees back up.
  • Repeat.
